As 2012 begins, I shall try to blog more often. My hands are no longer sore and bleeding (a huge blessing) so I can type freely with out worrying over ruining my keyboard!
I look ahead to this year and wonder what is in store.... I wish I could see into the future and discover all the many things that will happen in my life. What will I do? Who will I see? Will my time be used wisely and to the glory of God the Father? I was recently convicted by something my elder said in church. He reminded us that though we all have different financial situations, different social standings and different abilities and talents, we all have the exact same amount of time. We ALL have 24 hours in a day. And what we do with these hours is a choice we all make.
That hit me. I pray this year that I have opportunities to serve others when it is inconvenient for me. I pray to be able to give of my time and make that sacrifice. I pray the same for you. As we grow in the Lord, I pray that we would be convicted to get out of our warm and cozy comfort zones and become servants of the Lord.
